Louis W. Brydges, Jr. graduated Lake Forest Academy 1973; Emory University 1977 (Major in History and Political Science); J.D., Emory University College of Law 1980.
Mr. Brydges has practiced law for over 30 years.In 2010 – he was the co-founding partner of Fish, Brydges & Associates, focusing on residential and commercial foreclosure defense and in August 2011 – founded Lou Brydges & Associates, P.C. Mr. Brydges has written extensively on mechanics’ lien law. He has practiced before the Circuit Courts of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Georgia; the Federal District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern and Western Divisions, First and Second District Appellate Courts of Illinois and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He was also among the youngest attorneys ever rated AV (“A”, highest legal abilities; “V” very high ethical standards – both highest ratings available) by his peers for Martindale –Hubbell for Legal Abilities and Ethical Standards.
